Line Deploy

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Part I

About These Terms

Applies to everyone.

1

Overview and Definitions

Line Deploy LLC (“Line Deploy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a platform that enables businesses to manage workforce operations, including communication with workers via SMS, training assignment, and workforce coordination.

Two groups of people use Line Deploy, and these Terms address both of them separately:

  • A “Customer” is a business that licenses Line Deploy to coordinate its workforce. Part II applies to Customers.
  • A “Worker” is an individual whose mobile number a Customer holds on a call-out list, and who may sign in to the Line Deploy worker portal. Part III applies to Workers.

Part IV applies to everyone. Where a Part uses “you”, it means the group that Part addresses.

By using Line Deploy, you agree to the Parts of these Terms that apply to you.

Part II

For Businesses Using Line Deploy

Applies to Customers. In this Part, “you” means the business that licenses Line Deploy.

2

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Line Deploy only for lawful business operations. Examples of permitted uses include:

  • Workforce availability requests
  • Storm deployment coordination
  • Training and compliance communication
  • Authentication and account-related messaging

You may not use the platform for:

  • Marketing or promotional messaging
  • Spam or unsolicited messaging
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or misleading communication
3

Messaging Compliance

For operational messaging initiated by Customers, Line Deploy does not obtain consent on behalf of Customers. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring recipients have provided prior express consent to receive SMS messages before sending operational messages through the platform. Customers are also responsible for maintaining consent records and complying with all applicable messaging laws and carrier requirements.

4

SMS Messaging & Opt-Out

All messages sent through Line Deploy include standard opt-out functionality. SMS messages are sent only to recipients who have previously provided prior express consent to receive operational messages from the Customer.

  • Message frequency varies based on account activity and deployment events
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Customers may not disable or interfere with opt-out mechanisms

A recipient who opts out of a Customer’s messages is removed from that Customer’s call-out lists and will not receive further messages from that Customer through the platform. Opt-out is specific to the Customer whose message it answers and does not affect any other Customer. Section 11 describes this from the recipient’s side.

5

Platform Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor messaging activity for compliance
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Restrict messaging capabilities if abuse or non-compliance is detected
6

Phone Numbers & Messaging Infrastructure

Line Deploy provisions and manages messaging phone numbers on behalf of Customers through third-party providers. Phone numbers provisioned through Line Deploy are managed under our infrastructure while the service is active. Customers may port numbers out at any time, at which point those numbers are no longer usable within the platform.

Customers agree that:

  • Messaging services are subject to carrier and provider regulations
  • Line Deploy is not responsible for number availability or portability timelines imposed by third-party carriers
7

Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of recipient data
  • Ensuring lawful collection of phone numbers
  • Maintaining up-to-date contact information
8

Limitation of Liability

Line Deploy is not responsible for:

  • Customer misuse of messaging services
  • Failure to obtain proper consent
  • Legal consequences resulting from non-compliant messaging
9

Termination

For material violations of these Terms or applicable regulations, we may suspend or terminate access immediately and without prior notice. For non-emergency violations, we will provide thirty (30) days written notice before taking action, during which time the Customer may remedy the violation.

Part III

For Workers

Applies to individuals who receive messages from a company through Line Deploy or who sign in to the worker portal. In this Part, “you” means that individual.

10

What Line Deploy Does for You

A company that holds your mobile number on a call-out list uses Line Deploy to reach you about storm work. Through Line Deploy you can see the storms you have been called to, indicate whether you are available, complete any training the job requires, and submit receipts for expenses.

Line Deploy is the tool those companies use. We do not decide who is called out, who is confirmed for a crew, or what a job pays. The company makes those decisions, and your working relationship is with that company rather than with Line Deploy.

11

Text Messages You Receive

Companies use Line Deploy to send you messages about storm work, including availability requests, reporting instructions, training links, and one-time codes used to sign in. Message frequency varies with deployment activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Declining a single call-out does not remove you from a company’s list. You may reply NO, respond in the worker portal, or not respond at all. Companies control their own call-out lists and may change or remove your entry at any time.

To stop receiving messages from a company, reply STOP to any message from that company. We will stop sending their messages and remove you from their call-out lists. This applies to that company only; other companies whose lists you are on are unaffected. To resume, reply START to the same number.

For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact support@linedeploy.com.

12

Network Verification and Fraud Prevention

When you sign in with your phone number, we may ask your mobile carrier to confirm that the request is coming from the device that holds that number. We use this only to confirm you are who you say you are and to stop someone else from signing in as you. It does not give us access to your calls, your messages, your location, or your browsing activity.

You authorize your wireless carrier to use or disclose information about your account and your wireless device, if available, to Line Deploy or its service provider for the duration of your business relationship, solely to help them identify you or your wireless device and to prevent fraud. See our Privacy Policy for how we treat your data.

If your carrier cannot complete this check, we will send a one-time passcode to your phone by SMS instead.

13

Your Information

Line Deploy holds your name, mobile number, and the state you deploy from, together with records of the storms you have been called to, training you have completed, and receipts you have submitted.

Your sign-in credentials and profile are held by Line Deploy. You may correct your name and home state under My Info in the worker portal, or request closure of your Line Deploy account by contacting support@linedeploy.com.

Records of work performed for a company are that company’s records. Line Deploy stores them on the company’s behalf and cannot remove them on your request. To have those records corrected or deleted, contact the company directly. Retention is determined by that company’s policies and by the record-keeping obligations that apply to it.

Part IV

General

Applies to everyone.

14

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes informally. The party raising the dispute must provide written notice describing the issue in reasonable detail. The parties will have thirty (30) days from that notice to resolve the matter before pursuing other remedies. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief where necessary to prevent immediate harm.

15

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Alabama.

16

Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you via in-app notice upon login. Continued use of Line Deploy following such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
